  • Our job candidates and recipients of our career services,
  • Our associates, who are people we source or place on assignment with one of our clients, or individuals to whom we provide outplacement or career transition services,
  • Users of the websites and apps listed above, and
  • Representatives of our business partners, clients and vendors.

 

This privacy notice does not apply to our employees.

Information We Collect

Scentise (Hong Kong) Limited (Data Controller ) may collect your name, contact details, skills, qualifications, accreditations, and your employment history. We may also collect other types of your Personal Data such as references and employment objectives during dealing with you, for example if you are considered for a particular employment position. The purpose for which we collect Personal Data and the consequences of not providing it will be made clear at the time of collection.

We may collect Personal Data when you:

  • Register or subscribe to our services or request further services on our website
  • Register or apply online for our job listed in external job board (such as JobsDB, LinkedIn…etc.);
  • Contact us to report a problem with our websites or make any enquiry or query or comment.

 

Your decision to provide any personal data to us is voluntary. You will therefore not be subject to adverse consequences if you do not wish to provide us with your Personal Data.

If you provide your personal info to us through external system or service, such as job board, you are deemed to agree with the privacy policy of the relevant service provider and agree to pass your personal information to us.

How We Use the Information We Collect

Data Controller will hold, use, disclose and otherwise process your personal data for the purposes as disclosed to you at the time of collection of your personal data, or otherwise as set out in this Privacy Policy.

We will not use or disclose your personal data for any other purpose without first seeking your consent, unless authorized or required by law. Generally, we will only hold, use, disclose and otherwise process your personal data for the following purposes:

  3. To enable you to submit your CV to apply for specific jobs;

  5. To provide clients with data about you during an assignment or placement, including qualifications, licenses, and employment reference checks and other personal data you have provided to us;
  6. To communicate with you, including share job openings to you. If you do not wish to receive such communications, you may request us to ceased from such communications at anytime;
  7. To our client(s) assigned external vendors where our client(s) have retained them to provide products or services that you have requested. Such external vendors must comply with similar undertakings of privacy and confidentiality as ours;
  8. if we merges with or is acquired by another business, we may share your personal data with the new owners of the business and their advisers and if this happens, you will be notified of such an event;
  9. to meet or comply with any legal, regulatory or statutory requirements relating to our provision of products and services and to make disclosure under the requirements of any applicable law, legislation, rule, ruling, regulation, direction, court order, by-law or guideline applicable to us.
