Job Description

Our client is a sizable European medical device principal, with significant market leadership in their product expertise areas. To cope with their business expansion, they are currently invite high calibre medical device sales professional in joining their team as Regional Marketing Manager, Medical Device.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for operational business support of Medical Devices business in APAC Region. This includes the product strategy implementation, commercial management and operational marketing of products within the product area over the entire product life as well as Medical Affairs and Technical Services
  • Act as point of contact and provide product support for APAC for all Medical Devices business related matters. Cooperates with Market, Business and Production Units
  • Works with countries in the region to implement core business strategies in the key areas of
    • Portfolio management
    • Target Customers
    • Activity management
    • Deployment of sales and marketing resources
    • Cross company coordination
    • Communication
    • Profitability
  • Manages Medical Devices product developments and changes – communicating to countries and liaising with regulatory, QM, logistics and production to ensure a smooth launch/transition/ phase out
  • Supports the management of regional Medical Devices projects
  • Supports the development of Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) throughout the region and managing relationship with these and other emerging KOLs with the Medical Affairs department.

 

Requirements:

  • University degree in natural science, and/or business preferably with a MBA
  • Outstanding proven experience in product marketing management of Medical Devices products, preferably in the NESEA region or global position
  • Minimum 7 years’ experience working and supporting within a multi-national and virtual management structure
  • Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to lead and perform well in a team environment
  • Strong analytical and financial skills with attention to detail and follow through
  • Experience with development of strategic business plans and ability to convert strategy to action
  • Result oriented and passion for the business
  • Self-confident and open minded
  • Fluency in spoken and written English
  • Good command of MS office
  • Willing to travel extensively
